Meet Steve Our Account Executive

GP is happy to welcome Steve Cameron back as our Account Executive.

Steve first started working for GP in Brisbane in 2012 as a day labourer. Excelling, he was soon given a role at the Dalby location as a storeman. In 2013 Steve moved into the workshop as a technician before becoming the logistics coordinator at GP. As his skillset expanded and his knowledge grew, he moved back to the Brisbane head office as Internal Sales in 2014. After time away returned to GP in 2018 as Account Executive.

Steve’s dedication to GP’s reputable 24/7 customer service is displayed on a daily basis as he is the first point of contact for customers, ensuring prompt and efficient service is always given. Steve works closely with customers to assist in their operational and project requirements. Customers working with Steve can be assured that problems will be solved, stress will be taken off, and efficiency will be driven.

Steve is passionate and lives and breathes the industry. He works alongside GP’s exclusive partners, including Western Silverline, WestCo, Forum Energy Technologies, Townsend, Washington Rotating and more, who together offer over 100 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Steve is a diverse individual which allows him to connect with everyone he meets and has been an English Teacher, Butcher and Hotel Manager.

Fun fact’s about Steve:

• He rescued an elderly ex-racing greyhound named Pixie
• He is a mad Manchester City fan, since living in Manchester in his early 20’s
• He always wears shorts to work on a Friday

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Arts - Linguistics, Anthropology
• Cert IV TESOL - Teacher English as Second or Other Language
• RMLV - Responsible Management of Licenced Venues
• Chain of Responsibility (Level 2)
• High Risk Work License - Forklift Truck
